The News We Didn't Want
Mom had a very restful night, in fact, the best she's had in weeks. But our news from the biopsy this morning was not what we wanted to hear. Mom has adenocarcima, primary cancer of the stomach. She also has possible lymph node involvement. She will be going to Birmingham for an endoscopic ultrasound of the stomach, after which they will be able to stage the cancer and present her with the options. Her prognosis is not good, which makes us ever thankful that we rest in the hands of a loving, Sovereign God, the Blessed Controller of all things. Thank you for praying.
